RBI Assistant 2016 Notification Delayed

The Reserve Bank of India is the official conducting body of the RBI Assistant 2016 Exam. This examination is conducted for those interested in the post of Assistants in the various zonal offices. The application process for the RBI Assistant Exam will begin once the official notice regarding the exam is released by the Reserve Bank of India. There are a number of applicants who apply and appear for the RBI Assistant Exam from across the country. 

The exam for the RBI Assistant will be conducted online only and there will not be any pen and paper test for the same. Initially after they have cleared the exam they will only be posted within the recruitment zone that they have applied for and their preference will be taken into consideration. Before applying for the exam the candidates must be well versed with the eligibility criteria for the same. Those who do not comply to the criteria laid down by the RBI will not be eligible to take the online test. 


RBI Assistant 2016- Eligibility Criteria 

The minimum age of the candidates must be 18 years of age and the maximum age must be 28 years. 

Those above 28 years of age cannot apply for this exam.

The candidate must be a graduate of any discipline from a recognised college or university.

He must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in their bachelors. 

RBI Assistant Application form 2016 Details

In 2016, the RBI Assistant Notification was issued in June 2015, hence it was expected that the notification will issued in June 2016 but the notification was not issued in the expected month hence it is estimated that the it will release in the 4th week of July 2016.

  • The RBI Assistant Application form will be available online. The candidates can fill the form on the official RBI website. 
  • There will be no offline forms available and those candidates who attempt to submit an offline copy of the form will not be entertained.
  • The application fees payment can be made online. 
  • The RBI Assistant 2016 application form is likely to be issued in the end week of July 2016.
  • The Admit card for the exam will also be made available online. There will be no hard copy of the Admit card sent out individually. Candidates will be required to take a printout of their Admit cards online. 
  • The result for the exam will be released after a month since the exam is held. 
  • There will also be an interview round after the written online test.
  • The final result will be published as the combined score of both the online test and the interview.
